Aufbau IPv6 Adresse
- The IPv6 address, as currently defined, consists of (RFC 6177, RFC 3177):
64 bits of "network number" and 64 bits of "host number"
in 2 x 4 = 8 groups of 4 hexadecimal digits.
- IPv6-Adressen sind 128 Bit lang.
- acht Blöcke von jeweils 4 x 4 = 16 Bit
- Darstellung in hexadezimaler Schreibweise
- die Blöcke werden durch Doppelpunkte getrennt
- 1 hexadecimal digit ≙ 1 nibble = 4 bit; 2 digit = 2 x 4bit = 1 Byte (wie MAC!)
- Bit-spiel:
0016:0032:0048:5664 : 0005:0006:0007:0008 / 128
